T & K Pediatric Services is seeking a compassionate and motivated Early Interventionist to join our growing team. In this role, you will play an essential part in evaluating and supporting infants and young children who have developmental delays, disabilities, or are at risk for developmental challenges. Working closely with families and interdisciplinary team members, you will help promote each child's growth, development, and success through individualized early intervention services.

Pay: DOE Starting at $30 an hour

Responsibilities

  • Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify developmental delays or disabilities in infants and young children.
  • Provide direct early intervention services to children, focusing on individualized goals and objectives.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans to address the specific needs of each child.
  • Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure coordinated and consistent care.
  • Monitor and evaluate the progress of children through regular assessments and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  • Provide guidance, education, and support to families on strategies to support their child's development at home and in their community.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and other relevant documentation.
  • Stay up to date with the latest research and best practices in early intervention and implement evidence-based strategies in your work.
  • Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and professional development activities to enhance your skills and knowledge in the field.
  • Adhere to ethical and professional standards of practice and maintain confidentiality at all times.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Early Childhood Special Education, Special Education, Social Work, Speech Pathology, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Nursing
  • Proven experience working with infants and young children with developmental delays or disabilities.
  • Knowledge of early childhood development and the principles of early intervention.
  • Strong assessment and diagnostic skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
  • Proficiency in using computers and technology for documentation purposes.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Compensation
